These are one of the safest modular electric vehicle (EV) chargers on the market. Ideal for residential or light commercial installations such as motels, campsites and private car parks. 

Offers flexibility thanks to its simple and durable water proof design.

The unit is designed to offer full Mode 3 charging up to  32amp (7.2 kW) charging to Electric Vehicle (EV).

This charger offers an integrated type 2 socket (62196-2 standard for many EV's). This socket can then be used with a multitude of cables (available separately).

Type 2 sockets are becoming a standard connector for EV's on AC charging.

Currently, the most common EV in New Zealand is a Nissan Leaf. This has a type 1 socket on the car.  This Type 2 wall pod can still be used with this charger when using a Type 1 to Type 2 cable (sold separately).  This would charge a Nissan Leaf in around 4 hours from empty depending on the on-board charger and the available amps on the home circuit.

The side rotating selection switch allows you to select the following speeds:

16Amp (3.6kW)
32Amp (7.2kW)

Note: This combo includes either 5m Type-1 EV Charge cable (for older Nissan Leaf's etc) or Includes 5m Type-2 EV Charge cable for newer Nissan Leaf and Kia / Hyundai, etc.  You must specify if you need the Type-1 or Type-2 charge cable thanks.  If you need a cable hook (to hold the cable nicely in place when not using it) please let us know as we can offer a hook separately also (not included with this kit).

Note: We recommend this EVSE charging unit be hard wired in conjunction with a proper Type-B RCD (not included in this combo), which is available seperately (for extra cost).  Please call or message us if you need the Type-B RCD unit also, and this kit must be installed by a qualified electrician also.
